ARE SERVICES PROVIDED VIRTUALLY OR IN-PERSON?
Our therapeutic services are currently 100% virtual. We use a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform which can be accessed via computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS? UPDATED 08.07.24
Yes, we are! Our current openings are on weekdays, during normal business hours. We do not have evening or weekend appointments available at this time. If you are interested in engaging in services with us, please complete our consultation request form.
ARE CONSULTATIONS REQUIRED?
Yes, consultation is an extremely important part of the intake process. The purpose of the consultation is getting to know potential clients better, answering any questions they may have about our practice to aid them in making an informed decision regarding joining The Revolution, and determining whether we have a clinician in our tribe who is suited to meet the potential client's needs.
DO YOU SERVE CLIENTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY?
Unfortunately, no. At this time, we are only able to provide services to clients who reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and New York.
CAN I USE MY MEDICAL INSURANCE?
You sure can - and you should! We currently accept plans from the following insurance companies: Aetna, Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, and United Healthcare.
HOW MUCH WILL THERAPY COST ME?
Out of pocket fees vary from person to person based on insurance coverage, specifically co-pays, deductibles, etc. Our insurance and billing department informs clients of their co-pays or deductibles prior their first scheduled sessions.
Our standard fees per session are as follows: Diagnostic Assessment: $225, Individual Therapy: $175, Couples Therapy: $200, Family Therapy: $225, Therapeutic Group: $75.
Uninsured or underinsured individuals, who do not demonstrate need for a reduced rate, are required to pay the standard fees for services out of pocket.
DO YOU OFFER A SLIDING SCALE?
Absolutely. Making therapeutic services accessible to individuals who are uninsured or undersinsured is extremely important to us. Please contact us to inquire about our reduced rates and pro bono services.
HOW FREQUENTLY WILL I HAVE SESSIONS?
Most people initially engage in weekly therapy sessions and progress to bi-weekly (every other week), and then monthly sessions. These transitions occur as clients begin meeting their therapy goals and are able to effectively implement tools learned in therapy to cope with challenges. There are no set timeframes for the length of time one will engage in therapy at any specific frequency or how long one will engage in therapy overall. Our therapists are highly skilled in the areas of assessment and treatment planning and are able to expertly utilize a myriad of therapeutic interventions and modalities to ensure that client's services are tailored to meet their own unique needs.
HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
All of our sessions last one therapeutic hour, which is 50-55 minutes. When necessary, sessions are extended to ensure client safety and well-being.
WHAT ARE YOUR THERAPY HOURS?
Our therapy sessions are during normal business hours, evenings, and on weekends.
